The Piccadilly Tomatoes.

The Piccadilly tomato is a small (about 30-50 grams) variety of cluster cherry tomatoes, derived from the ancient "Vesuvian" tomato. It is characterized by an oval shape, a bright red color and firm, flavorful flesh. 

Thanks to its skin that melts when cooked, it is perfect for making quick sauces for pasta and pizza.
Consumed raw, it enhances the flavor of simple dishes thanks to its compact pulp.
 It is also excellent for the preparation of confit tomatoes or as an accompaniment to fish dishes.
