A sweet red particularly suited to accompany desserts with bitter cocoa or dark chocolate, perhaps garnished with berries.

The bouquet is of great aromatic richness, broad and complex, with notes of ripe red fruit, jam and oriental spices. The sip is warm, thick and soft, with enveloping aromas and very persistent.

GRAPE VARIETY: Primitivo.

PRODUCTION AREA: rural area of the villages of Manduria and Sava, in the province of Taranto.

Vinification: in red with thermoconditioning of the fermentative process (22-24 °C).
Wine aging: steel and bottle.

Color: deep ruby red with purple highlights.

Aroma: Notes of dried figs and dates, plums and blueberries in jam open to sensations of violets; pleasant and subtle spicy tones with undergrowth drapes. Hints of dried fruit and cocoa closing.

Flavor: Delicate sweetness on the palate, satisfying freshness, soft tannin and complex persistence.

Food pairings: dry pastry – blue cheeses.

Serving temperature 10-14°C.
