Breeding Type: Simple Guyot Backrest.

Age of vineyards: 15 – 20 years. Vineyard altitude: 400 – 450 meters

Production for Ha: 10 Ton.

Production area: Northeastern part of the Province of Potenza, delimited by the production regulations, which includes the territory of no. 15 municipalities, specifically the Municipality of Venosa Città di Orazio.

Harvest period: First ten days of October.
Harvest method: Selection of grapes, hand-picked, in the early hours of the morning and immediate transport of the grapes to the cellar.

Vinification: in small fermentines and film maceration at a controlled temperature from 23° to 26° C., completion of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

 Aging: in oak barrels.

 Organoleptic characteristics and technical commentary: A well-structured and modern wine featuring:
Intense ruby red color with slight garnet reflections.
Vinous bouquet with a delicate blackcurrant aroma, moderately spicy. Dry, savoury and persistent flavour, very pleasant in its harmony.

Gastronomic pairing and serving temperature: Classic roasting wine, typical first courses of Mediterranean cuisine, game and aged cheeses.
It is suggested to serve at 16° – 18°C.
