The combination of Taggiasche olives and green olives create a harmonious bouquet of taste, the result of the skilful work of Chef Heinz Beck, ideal for a simple and exquisite seasoning. The Taggiasca olive is so called because it was brought to Taggia (IM) by the Benedictine monks of San Colombano and then selected and spread. Over the centuries the Taggiasca olive grafts were spread throughout Italy, although the greatest cultivation has always remained in the province of Imperia. The fruit of this variety is very tender, tasty and gives great personality to the recipes.
