Strega liqueur is one of the most famous and ancient Italian herbal distillates, produced in Benevento since 1860 by the Alberti family. Recognizable by its unmistakable bright yellow color due to saffron, it has an alcohol content of 40% vol. and is considered an excellent natural digestive.

Strega liqueur is an excellent distillate, sweet and with a particular taste. It can be used in the preparation of desserts or simply eaten like this, perhaps accompanying it with our excellent almond cantucci. It’s made by distilling herbs and spices. The origin of the raw materials is worldwide, therefore a perfect mix of flavors and tradition of the distillery. On the whole, mint, wild fennel and saffron are easy to spot, giving it its characteristic yellow colour.
