Muscat Pumpkin (also known as Musquée de Provence) is a prized variety of pumpkin native to southern France, particularly prized for its sweet, dense, and aromatic flesh. Although botanically it is a fruit, in cooking it is treated like a vegetable. 

The pulp is an intense and lively orange, it is firm and low in waste. The flavor is very sweet, with notes reminiscent of nutmeg and dried fruit.
