Diamond Cedar (or Smooth Cedar) is a prized citrus variety typical of the Riviera dei Cedri, in Calabria, which takes its name from the town of Diamante. The lemon yellow skin when ripe is thick, smooth or slightly ribbed and very aromatic. The pulp is sparse and not very juicy, with an acidic taste similar to that of lemon.
