Aglione della Valdichiana is a giant garlic typical of the Val di Chiana area, in Tuscany. It is distinguished from common garlic by its significantly larger size, mild flavor and absence of allin, the substance that causes pungent odor and bad taste after consumption, which is why it is also called "kiss garlic".
